Naan bread makes perfect individual size pizzas! We used garlic naan bread and made an easy sauce with pre-prepared alfredo sauce and pesto sauce. Topped with cooked cheese, onions, and prosciutto, this simple naan pizza is finished with a drizzle of honey. It’s a flavor explosion of salty, sweet, and savory!
Here’s what you’ll need
- naan bread – We used garlic naan for more flavor and because we love garlic!
- onion
- alfredo sauce
- pesto sauce
- mozzarella cheese
- prosciutto
- honey
- parsley – This is just for garnish and optional.
Time to get cooking
- Cook onion and prepare naan bread
Preheat the oven to 375°. While the oven is preheating, cut half of the onion into thin slices. Heat a pan over low-medium heat with a tablespoon of oil and cook the onion slices until they’re translucent, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the cooked onions from heat and set aside. Spread 2 teaspoons of alfredo sauce and 1 teaspoon of pesto sauce on each piece of naan bread.
- Add the toppings
Top the naan bread with the mozzarella cheese, onions, and prosciutto.
- Bake and finish with honey
Bake the naan bread pizzas for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Once the pizzas are done baking, drizzle honey evenly on top and serve fresh!
Questions you may have about the prosciutto and honey naan pizza
You totally don’t have to cook the onions before adding them to the pizza. We like our onions more cooked down and caramelized so we cook it down first.
You can certainly use your favorite toppings instead of prosciutto and honey! That’s one of the reasons why we love pizza so much; the topping possibilities are endless.
We hope you enjoy this prosciutto and honey naan pizza as much as we did! It’s going to be made often in our house! Another version of pizza we like to make is our Roasted Garlic Texas Toast Pizza. Here are some of our other recipes that you may enjoy:
